The seventh annual Oregon Cider Week begins tomorrow, with events all around Oregon. I was invited to a preview tasting yesterday evening, and got the scoop on all the ciders and events. Blue Star Donuts teamed up with Oregon Cider Week to create a unique donut for the event. Seen below, it’s called Black Currant Cider with Hot Honey. It’s made with Brioche donut, Finnriver Black Currant cider, black currant pureé, and BeeLocal Hot Honey. I recommend pairing it with the Lavender Black Currant cider from Finnriver.
